"All cartoon characters and fables must be exaggeration, caricatures. It is the very nature of fantasy and fable."

- Walt Disney -

Born in 1985,Ralph Doumit is a unique talent in the world of comic books. He came across his fascination of words in novels and colors in illustrations, at the age of 10, where his taste combined both fields into comics.

Despite the fact that Ralph is originally an architect, his love for drawing and creativity made him get into college once more and receive an additional degree in illustration and comics from l'Académie Libanaise des Beaux-Arts (ALBA).

Doumit used to say: "I would like to build houses for my friends." He later chose another interpretation for his initial quote:"Now, I can build book-houses for my friends." Meaning that this world of imagination can provide an individual with his own imaginary house, when a new book is explored.

Since then, Ralph has chosen a career path in publishing -writing and illustration- balancing a life between France and Lebanon.
