During her career, Claire has established herself as a recognized expert in the field of High Jewelry and has developed privileged relations with international collectors.

After studying at the Institute of Gemology and history of art at the Ecole du Louvre, Claire began her career with the publishing world leading group, Reed Elsevier. It is in 2003 that she returned to the world of auctions, first at Pierre Bergé & Associates then as a specialist at Christie's in 2004.

Based in Paris, it is since 2008 that Claire is in charge of client jewelry development in Europe at Sotheby's.

She is definitely at the origin of sales of private collections such as the personal jewelry pieces of Suzanne Belperron, important rare stones and the sales of aristocratic provenance jewels. Claire lectures regularly on jewelry, its history and the topic of gemology in general.

She was invited to Lebanon, specifically to the Université Antonine, by the Center Of Continuing Education, in collaboration with the biggest Lebanese jewelry houses Antoine Hakim and Selim Mouzannar.

It is a complete training since it addresses all aspects of jewelry, starting with gemology of the four gems, the multiple fine and ornamental stones before ending with pearls. In addition to the introduction to all the instruments and utensils used in the High Jewelry field.

Finally, Claire reviewed the very important evolution of jewelry pieces through the eras, emphasizing on the twentieth century because it has produced strong and very inspiring designs to jewelers nowadays.
